Payments processing company Monoova (formerly MoneyTech Payments) has hired Tyson Hackwood to be its head of growth. Hackwood joins from PayPal’s Braintree, where he was head of Asia Pacific. At Monoova he will be responsible for promoting the adoption of automated payment technologies.
Former Macquarie Group senior investment specialist Teiki Benveniste is heading the newly formed Ares Australia Management. Ares is a joint venture between the US fund manager Area Management Corp and Fidante Partners. It is a credit and alternative asset manager. Benveniste will be based in Sydney. At Macquarie, he was most recently in charge of Australian fixed income investment.
Receivables finance company Australian Invoice Finance has appointed Andy Cusworth as business development manager in Queensland. Cusworth was most recently with Asset Finance Loans. AIF was launched in 2017 and now operates in all Australian states.
